Happy New Year! It's 2013, a year of big changes for us, what with upcoming high school graduations and whatnot. The party is over, and I for one couldn't be more excited to get back to work.
I love Maggie's list of simple resolutions, particularly "own less crap" and "eat more dim sum." Mine are:
1. Take more photos.
2. Write more thoughtfully.
3. Drink less coffee.
4. Become a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.*
5. Live in a place that has dim sum.
What are y'all's simple resolutions? Let me hear them, because I'll probably steal them if they're good.
*Just kidding. You know I want to be a Saintsation.

Who knew there was a market for DANG bracelets?
Just went through what I did/accomplished last year and what I want to continue to do and do more of:
1) start cooking regularly again
2) start transcendental mediation
3) be a tourist in my city and visit the secrets
4) entertain more
5) organize/redo my home office which didn't get done last year
I wanted to be a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader when i was 8 years old. also a Rockette. and a doctor.
2) Finish a book at least every two weeks.
3) No more laptops in bed.
4) Eat one green vegetable every day.
+1 on the DANG bracelet. Might need to crosstitch that mofo.

And because I don't like to overwhelm myself, I only have two resolutions for 2013;
1) Sit up straight! I can think of approximately three thousand things I'd like more than the dowager's hump I'm working on.
2) Be more mindful. Take more time and consideration with the people and experiences in my life. Stop running huge chunks of my day on "auto pilot."

Attend an AB Chao design camp would be on there but 2013 funds are tight (read: no non-family travel) and you are not coming to Nashville. What is up with that?! ;)
